Student Organization Recognition Deadline!

📣Student Organization Recognition Deadline: October 15, 2026

All student organizations must complete the annual recognition process by Wednesday, October 15 at 11:55 p.m. to maintain active status. Organizations that miss the deadline or submit incomplete applications will not be recognized, will not receive SUFAC funding, or may face budget reductions.

Here's what every organization needs to complete:

1. Re-Registration Form: Submit the Re-Registration Form on 'Jackets Connect. Log in with your UWS credentials to update your organization's details, review your constitution, and acknowledge the minimum requirements.
    
2. Membership: Your 'Jackets Connect roster must include at least one UWS faculty or staff advisor and four student members registered with UWS credentials.
    
3. Advisor Agreement: Your advisor must complete the Advisor Agreement form on 'Jackets Connect. (Advisors: Log in, click "Forms" on the left menu, and select "Advisor Agreement.")
    
4. Constitution: A current, signed constitution must be on file in 'Jackets Connect. If yours is more than two years old, it needs to be updated, re-signed, and re-uploaded.
    
5. Leadership Training: All officers must complete the Student Organization Leadership Training (2026-2027) on Learn@UW-Superior (Canvas). It takes about 60-90 minutes and can be done in sections. Officers in multiple organizations only need to complete it once.

All five steps must be finished by October 15 for your organization to be approved.
