Extreme Makeover: Gingerbread House Edition

Get into the holiday spirit with YAC's Gingerbread House Craft & Contest! Join us on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 6-8 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Shippar Atrium to build and decorate your gingerbread masterpiece.

We'll provide the kits, candy, and icing - you bring the creativity! Enter your house into our friendly contest for a chance to win prizes in fun categories like "Classic Gingerbread House," "Most Creative," and "Yellowjacket Pride." Whether you stick to traditional or go bold with your design, it's a sweet way to celebrate the season.

This festive event is FREE and open to all UW-Superior students. Sponsored by the Yellowjacket Activities Crew.

Details:

• Teams of 2 are allowed.
• Decorating begins at 6:15 p.m. and ends at 7:45 p.m.
• Teams are allowed to bring additional food items and outside tools.
• The YAC staff will judge and determine the winners for each of the three contest categories.
• Afterward, contestants can take their creations home.

Contest Categories:

1. Classic Gingerbread House - A traditional, cozy design that captures the holiday spirit.
2. Most Creative - Unconventional designs, themes, or unique materials.
3. Yellowjacket Pride - A house that showcases UWS themes, colors, or mascot.
